Any negatives were out of Amazing Asia’s control. The traffic was so bad, he could still be there!!! Eventually, my selfish western ways set in, seeing me leave him to negotiate his way through the Bangkok madness, as I walked back to my hotel. Irrespective of our drivers best efforts (we made really good progress where possible) we fell foul of Bangkok traffic on the way ‘home’. Another really poignant place, wonderfully restored and cared for by predominantly, Australian Charities. Lunch time at the end of the line was outstanding, chicken with cashew nut and steamed rice is highly recommended. Taking the train to the end of the line was nice, not only was it relaxing but seeing the countryside and being able to put your head out the window to feel & smell it was awesome, especially considering the health and safety obsessed world we live in! We had a nice amount of time to meander across the bridge and take photos prior to the train arriving. Having visited the cemetery we headed to THE Bridge. The trip started badly, there was a mix up with the pick-up point (probably my fault) but Amazing Asia were understanding and just rearranged their plans, excellent.
